Kasia Pokrop
Born and raised in Poland, Kasia left her home country at the age of 22. Starting her journey in Ireland, she continued to Belgium, Amsterdam, Singapore, and back to Amsterdam, where she found her new home. It was also here in Amsterdam where her yoga journey began.

While working at corporate she set up her daily practice of Ashtanga yoga, which opened up another world to her. She became curious, wanted to learn more about the practice, where it is coming from and how she can share it with others. She started with a 50hr Ashtanga training course with Claudia Pradella and Eva Ugolini, followed by 50hr Anatomy course with Jose de Groot, then joined workshops with Petri Räisänen, Eddie Stern, David Swenson, Saraswathi Jois, travelled to Rome to practice with Lino Miele, and when she was about to sign up for another teacher training to further deepen her knowledge about the practice, she got pregnant.

The interesting thing is, it didn't stop her from anything. Instead, it helped her grow, become more humble, appreciate more what you can do rather than seeing what you cannot do, and most of all - enjoy the time of her pregnancy. Something she decided she wants to share with others as well.

Following her mantra 'practice, practice, practice' she finalized the 200Hr Teacher Training with Claudia Pradella and Eva Ugolini, followed by 100Hr Path of Ashtanga practice where she dived into hands on adjustments. In parallel she also completed Pregnancy and Birth Teacher Training with Birthlight, and she certified as a HypnoBirthing® Practitioner, The Mongan Method. Today she has a chance to share her passion for Ashtanga, and help women through pregnancy with prenatal classes, and HypnoBirthing® courses.

Private Lessons
Kasia’s classes, group or private, are always adapted to her students. Ashtanga yoga is a set sequence, however, it may require modifications depending on students’ experience. Prenatal yoga classes are focused on helping you during pregnancy, and preparing your baby and yourself for labor.

In 1-on-1 sessions she will be sharing with you additional tips to help you either set up your own practice, or work through any difficulties or dillemas that you are struggling at the moment (e.g. injuries or simply busy daily schedule). She will always meet you at where you are at the moment with your practice and take it from there. With her positive attitude, and a special mix of experience being a dedicated ashtanga practitioner, but also a full-time marketing specialist, and a mother of two small kids, she may be just a person you are looking for to work with on your soon-to-be healthiest addiction: yoga practice.
